The Painted Night
In this image a woman sits in the passenger seat. We cannot see her face, but the red shouts something, passion, embarrassment, blood, love, or lust. It's raining too, as seen on the windows of the Oldsmobile, creating a mysterious aura in the photograph. But New York is always mysterious at night, when it's raining and you're driving in a car, feeling protected and relieved. However, at the same time, as you're looking through the colorful lights, you feel so alive, and you can have confidence in them to help guide you through the night.
