where are the days when the Oliver outboard motor was still around .... although I have to admit that my husband had no idea that such a thing existed :-))))
found in Alert Bay on Cormorant Island and again for the November theme"That Was Yesterday - Vintage". Please check out the General Forum:

I love it Adele, how cute to find an old outboard motor with the same surrname as your's. A great shot of the shop windows and the treasures within.
    Sincerely,
    Howard

    Well composed photo.
Excellent capture of shop window as a picture frame of old outboard motors.
    Stuck in infinity..

The Oliver looks really well preserved, better than all the other things in the shop-window.
I must also confess that I knew nothing about his existence. ;-)
    hugs

: ))))) once again i'm wrecking my brain, trying to decide what came first, your husband or the oliver outboard?? ; )))))) sorry, just kidding of course! couldn't resist the joke… must have been the bad influence of the eerie white mask at the right end of the looong rusty saw blade, that inspired the joke – anyone else see it, the phantom-of-the-opera-esque wink, i mean? ; )) great shot and a hilarious personal vintage ; ) capture! hugs, sabine. p.s.: i like the detail of the ancient boots!
