The Middle Ages (23) : Knight
This series is an attempt to illustrate how life was going on in the Middle Ages.
This knight, dressed in an iron armour, was ready for a fight.
For the elite knights of the King, a full-body plate armour was custom-made for each individual and weighed about 27 kg !

Der mittelalterliche Ritter gefällt mir besonders gut, Mark! Nicht nur, daß er eine schöne Rüstung an hat und das Gesicht mit Bart gut dazu paßt, sondern auch, weil du ihn fotografisch ausgezeichnet portraitiert hast!Gruß, Gunther

Ein stolzer Ritter - ja, so mögen sie ausgesehen haben!!! Auf jeden Fall war die Rüstung sehr schwer und unbequem... eine weitere feine Aufnahme Deiner Serie!!!
