The Living Forest (131) : Alder Buckthorn
Alder Buckthorn is a deciduous shrub or small tree that usually grows on damp sites in open woods.
The leaves of this tree stay green very long, but in late autumn it shows its most beautiful presentation with golden leaves and shiny black berries.

German name : Faulbaum
Latin name : Frangula alnus (syn. Rhamnus frangula)
