The Buddhas of Ho Pha Keo (1)
Wat Ho Pha Keo in der laotischen Hauptstadt Vientiane war trotz des Namens (Wat) nie ein aktiver buddhistischer Tempel. Das heutige Gebäude stammt aus dem Jahr 1942 und ist ein Museum der nationalen Kunstschätze des Landes. Zahlreiche Buddha-Figuren aus Stein, Bronze und Holz fanden hier ihre Heimstatt.
