The Black Bear

but so far away :-(((((
I managed to bring her close with my SuperShot's super-duper lens, but you have to forgive the quality .... the boat was moving, the bear was moving, my camera was going all over the place making it extremely hard to focus (and is frankly just not good enough for extreme telephoto shots).

taken in Wolf Cove after my morning cloud shot ... we were having breakfast and could hear the noise of stones being overturned and thrown onto stones ... a mother and her cub at low tide on the beach eating crabs and mussels.

remarkable photo - I do not know what I would have done with a bear in front !
But it is a wonderful animal, having the same preferences with food - fish and mussels !
My advantage - the bear has no white wine !
    regards, Bernd

une belle rencontre, c'est évident qu'il vaut mieux ne pas se trouver face à face, jolie prise, bonne journée, Josiane

My first look was at the technical datas of the photo - a relaxing 215 mm focal lenght, so you didn't come too close to this sometimes bad tempered buddy.
    Fine photo, Jost

Anytime you capture a photo of a wild bear is a great time. Very well done with the conditions.
    Best Regards,
    Archie
