the Annual Horse Races ~ Sanlucar de Barrameda (Cadiz)
these horses race on the beach of the Guadalquivir River each year in August, an event that has been going on for over a hundred years, attracting many from all over the world. one can actually bet, even at betting booths made by and operated by KIDs!! whether one bets or not, it's an interesting and well-watched event in Sanlucar, home of the great Manzanilla wine and even better seafood!
