The great blue heron's primarly diet is fish, but he also eats shrimps, frogs, aquatic insects ,repltiles.If he eats a fish, he swalloes it in one piece.
Der blaue Reiher frisst hauptsaechlich Fisch, aber auch Krabben, Froesche, verschiedene Wasserinsekten und Schlangen. Den Fisch verschlingt er in einem Stueck.
