it's a different cut, too, isn't it? closer! still, i prefer the color version – yes, more punch, and besides: speaking from a contextual point of view, you seem to lose that striking juxtaposition of green, almost summery life vs. the relentless whiteness of snowy winter! greetings, sabine.

the b&w version works well, but in my opinion, the little objects on the left side may have been left out . . to focus more on the fern ...cheers from Bernd

Yes, the snow crystals do seem better here.......but that is b/w for you :)).Maybe a colour key would work .....
