Shop for Penjor fittings
A Penjor is basically a long tapered bamboo pole that is stood vertically in the ground, often on the roadside, and decorated in coconut leaves. Due to their length of sometimes more than ten metres, they droop charmingly over the pavement like an ancient street lamp.
It was short time before Galungan ceremony. The Balinese people came to buy equipments for fitting their Penjors.

ich hatte diesmal bei meinen balinesischen Freunden an der Herstellung der Penjors für das bevorstehende Galungan Fest fleißig mitgebastelt. Viele Teile sind schon vorgefertigt und werden schließlich nur noch zusammengefügt. Gruß WolfgangBenita Sittner 26/07/2015 22:17
