These are the Batia's oldest sons and the current ruling force in Madikwe. They have taken over where their dads left off and are now 'managing' the eastern half of the reserve. They are, like their fathers were, huge lions and currently around 9 years old. We don't get to see them all that often anymore as they have moved to the east but every now and then they patrol into the western parts of the reserve. Awesome!!

Man sieht ihm direkt Alter und Strapazen an. Fast wie Tränensäcke und müde Augen -auch Herrscher werden älter... -Toll! Wie üblich: Tonung gefällt! -vielleicht ein bißchen dunkel?Miriam

Eine ganz wunderbare Aufnahme!!So sehen also Löwen in der freien Wildbahn nach einigen Jahren aus - das Leben dort hat Ihnen etliche Kratzer zugefügt, aber dafür sind sie ja auch frei... alles hat seinen Preis.
Gefällt mir sehr, sehr gut.
