Gottfried,Early collieries in 19th century in central Asturias were flatwise wells up on the hills. After the spanish civil war most of the pits were sunk in the deep narrow valleys of this land. This one was decommissioned in 1994 after a serious accident. Either winding engines of shaft 1 and 2 were installed by GHH in 1956. Drum, coupling, gear box, brake, Siemens AC engine and the control system.
