MALACCA
Is the Malaysia's oldest town and capital of the state at the same name, has uniquely experienced all major phases of the nation's history. The establishment of the Malay Sultanate in 1936, the Portugese, the Dutch and English colonial eras, the Japanese occupation and finally independence in 1957. The many remnants of the past will take any one on a nostalgic journey that goes back to 600 years of glorious and colourful past.
