"Red Sunset"

I went further north west and of course I got carried away taking photos of the powerful and beautiful surroundings. I had almost forgotten time and place, it was like a dream. The sea, sand mountain and wilderness the blaring sun and the warmth seemed out of place. For the first time in Iceland I actually felt like I might get lost – in a dream. Ok, maybe I’m exaggerating a little but as I was making my way through the picturing I realized that I was actually taking picture in Iceland.
And this picture is taken of old steel fishing ship troller.
Djupavik is a former fishing outfit and a fish-processing centre almost at the end of the Reykjafiord bay. A Herring pickling factory was established there in 1917, but was declared bankrupt a few years later. The operation started again in 1934 and continued successfully for about a decade until the herring disappeared from the Huna Bay.?
One of best Icelandic movie was filmed there "Red Sunset" kind of ghost story.

Yes, a very strong impression - almost overwhelming due to the closeness of the boat. But I guess this is your intent. Otherwise, a step or two back to give a bit of space to the motiv might haven been better. Cheers Kathryn

overall impression on me is very strong, like it a lot. But since this is critique section, I would have chosen a double upload, I see lines and compression artefacts on the ships hull and on the skyline on the right....
