Promise of Spring

Happy First Day of Spring!

As I post this, on a chilly, damp, rather "dubious" first day of Spring in the eastern U.S., I think back to a lovely
afternoon late last April, in which the pastels of Spring were in full riot along Accotink Stream in northern Virginia.

Here's how it looked to the Ektachrome film in my newly acquired mid-70s vintage
Olympus 35 RD compact rangefinder camera through a polarizing filter on its 40 mm lens.
