speaking of "things around the house"… kodak was a household name once! still is maybe… won't ever forget my little 70s kodak instamatic: the cartridge film it carried, the square 9 x 9 images it took, the sound it made when releasing the shutter – CRACK! – which sent creatures great and small running… ; ) wouldn't have missed it for the world, though! it gave up the ghost, after a well-meaning golden retriever tried to lick it back into conscience after a hard fall. rip, little instamatic! you served me well!! rip big kodak company for missing the boat with the transition to digital times?? it did look like it for a while… perhaps they are ready for a comeback soon… – – love the elegant, almost tender way in which you captured your veteran roll, showing it as a beautiful relic of the analog past, a subject to sentimental memories both in its looks and in its contents! greetings, sabine.

those were the days ... a fine shot with great compo,
details and tonality - I had our Super 8's converted
to digital ... lousy quality but still great memories !!!
    greetings, Adele

....great monochrome image of the old rolls of film, lovely detail and textures, reminds me that I have 30 or 40 rolls of 8mm that I need to put on DVDs, will have to check and see what I have to do to get it done.....
