Pleated Snowdrop
Despite the very cold freezing weather and lack of sunshine, the first winter bloomers can already be spotted in nature, like this Pleated Snowdrop.
This particular snowdrop species is native to the area around the Black Sea (Asiatic Turkey, Romania, Moldova, the Ukraine and the Russian Federation).
With its pendulous, bell shaped white flowers, the Pleated Snowdrop is a very distinctive eye-catching plant.
A joy for the eye !
