black and white in its literal sense, one black statue framed by two pillar-like whites, which indeed look like powerful adjutants or even guards, depending on what the small black one may be up to. he's the most artfully crafted of the three, if you ask me, and thus he's also the most interesting and emotionally compelling! his ardent pose could express both despair and devotion, he could be locked in prayer or lament. but with the "luxury bishop" scandal here in germany still unfolding, gathering momentum and being referred to rome, i will rather refrain from further comment and interpretation… ; ))) a suspenseful and emotionally charged image! greetings, sabine.

I find this monochrome shot of the three statues really interesting, with a strong moody feel and good detail.
