Phra Ruang Hot Springs Garden
Phra Ruang Hot Spring (called also Bueng Sap), naturally, has 5 spots of hot spring rising from underground. The temperature out he spring is approximately 40-65 degress Celsius. Rumor has it that the water from the hot spring brings about luck for those who take it back home.
Legend has it that in the Sukhothai period, King Phra Ruangchao went on a hunting trip, and stayed in that area; but because the area is a forest and no people's houses. Therefore, there is no fire for cooking, thus he cursed the nearby water to turn it into hot water. Then, he called the source of water as Bueng Phra Ruang Saap, and later shortened to be called as Bueng Sap. And it is said that this lake can cure sicknesses.
