Perspective.
I have always been fascinated by perspective effects: situations that disappear into infinity.
This shot captures the idea of perspective in the rail line but the reflection of trees on the polished surface adds a natural aspect to the overall shot.

Perspective has always been one of my deep intrigues; like you say, the 'vanishing point' somehow draws the eye towards it.I plan to do lots more of this sort of photography - there is a wonderful straight tree-lined avenue near me that is crying out to be used!
