This photo fascinates me more because of its color contrasts. On the one side the bold color of the tram. This turquoise color implicits a contemporary modernity, juvenileness even "lust for life" - as far as one can use this description for a tram. In contrary there are the sturdy ancient buildings the tram is just passing. Their colors are more covered, weathered and far from being contemporary. As usual when dealing with contrasts one always has to deal with two sides of a coin. In your photo they harmonize perfectly, as they supportingly tease out the best of each side.Thomas Reitzel 01/08/2010 17:53
