bryan took the words right out of my mouth: quite a daring worm's-eye view! "oh, to be a fly on the wall!" the english say, meaning they'd so like to be a secret witness. in german we have a similar expression, only we use a different animal, wishing we could be a little mouse overhearing a conversation. to make a long story short: both the proverbial "fly on the wall" and the little mouse appear to be in your shot: 1. fly: the forever spying camera filming the scene from above. 2. mouse: the courageous photographer shooting up at the demonstrators from way down below – – yikes, watch out, draga, don't let them trample you down! ; )) but the extreme point of view was definitely worth the effort: it adds a great archaic and "heroic" touch to the scene! in fact, it distantly reminds me of the old socialist propaganda billboards that show proletarii holding flags. yet, we know it's not from that era, and the reason we know is because of the girl in the crowd that's smiling amusedly down at the myshkin contorting herself for the perfect image – it's called "comic relief"!
; ))) greetings, sabine. p.s.: i just love how you captured the power of the moment!
