      It is a striking hill. But i find it difficult to photograph. the hill is called yeavering bell. There are the remains of an iron-age, pre-Roman , hill-fort and settlement on the top. Also - in front of the farm is an archaeological site - of the timber buildings of the 7th century kings of northumbria. Mark.
