Nyaung U ist eine Stadt in der Mandalay Division in Myanmar. Sie ist der größte Ort nördlich des Tempelareals von Bagan.
Die Fluggesellschaften Air Mandalay (www.airmandalay.com) und Yangon Airways (www.yangonair.com), Air Bagan sowie die neue KBZ und fliegen täglich den Ort Nyaung U am Nordende des Areals von Bagan an. Mit dem Taxi kommt man nach Nyaung U, Old Bagan oder New Bagan.
