Navajo market-stall
Open. On the highway 89 from Page to Flagstaff there are a lot of wooden market-stalls. Most of them are deserted. Only in some of them Indian arts and crafts are offered for sale yet. The graffito OPEN indicitates the state in a sarcastic way.
Offen. Entlang des Higway 89 von Page nach Flagstaff befinden sich viele hölzerne Marktstände. Die meisten von ihnen sind verlassen. Nur in einigen werden indianische Kunstwaren noch zum Verkauf angeboten. Das Graffito OPEN weist sarkastisch auf den Zustand hin.

Vor ca. 25 Jahren waren diese typischen Markstände auf dem selben Higway noch sehr belebt und nicht nur Touristen zeigten Interesse.So typisch und das Graffito bringt etwas Farbe in die Tristesse.
