Allied Troops from many other countries participated in D-Day June 6,1944 and the Battle of Normandy, in all the different armed services: Australia, Belgium, Czechoslovakia, France, Greece, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway and Poland.Over 425,000 Allied and German troops were killed, wounded or went missing during the Battle of Normandy.
We will remember them.

S/W ist hier genau richtig gewählt für diese traurigen Überreste! Ein mich sehr bedrückender Teil unserer Vorgeschichte. So etwas darf einfach nie wieder vorkommen! Es war mit Sicherheit die schlimmste Zeit für Europa und wir haben das Glück, es nicht erlebt zu haben! Dafür sind wir zu jung, aber wir sollten daraus lernen und alles dafür machen, dass es nie nie wieder so weit kommen kann!lg irelandeddie

In kleur is de foto ook super, maar in zwart wit komt de sfeer van toen op één of andere manier perfect over. Mooie contrasten en fraai standpunt.Gr. Ina
