Myocastor coypus
Die Nutria, auch Biberratte oder seltener Sumpfbiber, Schweifbiber, Schweifratte oder Coypu genannt, ist eine aus Südamerika stammende und in Mitteleuropa angesiedelte Nagetierart. Sie wird entweder in einer eigenen Familie, Myocastoridae, oder als Unterfamilie Myocastorinae innerhalb der Stachelratten eingeordnet. Wikipedia
