Men before their monkshood
The two young men are getting to be monks after short time.
They now are "Naks" before the abbot of the temple will accept them into the monastery as monks and change into the yellow robe.
Before the ordination ceremony, usually on the eve of the ordination day, this monk-to-be are dressed in all white.
The parents will shave their heads and eyebrows as a blessing.
This is followed by the Tham Kwan Nak, a purification rite performed by a mor kwan, a specialist in these rites.
