Rudi hat's leider nicht in die Galerie geschafft - dennoch herzlichen Dank an Sinija für den Vorschlag!

Rentiere sind perfekt an das arktische Klima angepasst. Mit ihren Hufen, teilweise auch mit den Geweihen scharren sie den Schnee beiseite, um an Moose und Flechten zu gelangen. Dank ihres dichten Winterfells können sie das auch bei Temperaturen bis zu -50°C tun. Die gut durchblutete Nase erwärmt die Atemluft auf angenehme 38°C. Auf Wärmebildaufnahme sind Rentiernasen daher leuchtend Rot :-)
