It was very, very hot, very, very humid - getting late, big threatening clouds, great light coming .... but then it never rained....

That reminds me on the leaving of Sicily last year,
but the weather was much better.

looks as though it's shortly before sundown!! amazing light and cloudscape – exactly how i would picture the weather in a southern rainforest… a beautiful and interesting picture like all your "panama-canal shots"! love the soft luster of light on the water, and how the ships seem to be "silently" cruising through it – dancers of a ballet… ; )) hugs, sabine.
