Ja - da gibts noch ne Menge mehr toller Fische zum fotografieren - aber der hier ist der Beste!"Knochenhechte sind eine sehr alte Fischgruppe und lassen sich in Afrika fossil schon mit dem Beginn der Unterkreide (Berriasium) vor 145,5 Millionen Jahren nachweisen. Die ältesten Fossilien im heutigen Verbreitungsgebiet sind 125 Millionen Jahre alt."
