Kirknewton
Kirknewton is a village on the edge of the cheviot hills. It includes a church dedicated to St Gregory the great. This church was largely rebuilt in the 19th century by John Dobson (Architect) - but the building retains some very ancient side chapels and walls. A mass conversion of the anglo saxons happened near here about 1,400 years ago.
