Die Tangaren (Thraupidae) sind eine artenreiche und formreiche Familie in der Ordnung der Sperlingsvögel (Passeriformes). Zuvor wurden sie als Unterfamilie Thraupinae den Ammern (Emberizidae) zugeordnet.
