  Hello Holger,
  I'm happy you liked it. This photo was captured in the mountainous rural area of Söke town that is known as Latmos. Söke is a small town in the western part of Turkey and very close to Ku?adas? which is famous as a touristic zone. Even though Latmos is a rocky terrain, it is covered with those special pines that I do not know the original name. It is imortant that Latmos hosts the ancient city of Heraklia which was a big a settlement around 300 BC.
