hi tim welcome to the fc
you must of proposed this with out realising what your doing
i like your other 3 fotos too but wouldn´t put any of them on my wall.
this one needs a tighter crop so contra here aswell
It's a fantastic good capture, maybe a tighter crop and a
larger image would have helped for the shot be perfect;
personally I would have also used "unsharp mask" to a
light degree on the image too (a bit and only there). This
time skip, hopefully next time it will be pro ,-)
For the record, I just signed up to this site the other day and uploaded some random photos.
I did NOT however submit this photo for voting into the Gallery...I don't even know what that is.
So while I appreciate the comments, I did not enter this into any kind of contest. I got an email from the web site that said someone had entered it.
I had a pro photo store blow this up by the way to 11x14 and it came out very nice. So I am sorry that some don't think that it's 'worthy', I will restate that I didn't intend for this to be an example of the fine and professional work that others at this site do. I've only had my Canon Eos Xti for about a month.

But thanks for criticism both good and bad.

Tim, the usual suspects here will comment and hopefully help.My advice is to look at the Gallery and make up your mind yourself. Take a serious look. Ask your self, is this a Gallery shot? It is not.
Ask FC members how you can make this, or others a Gallery shot Then you will improve.
This time its Contra. I hope next time its Pro.

Terrific catch but I think the crop is not good and the bird itself has hardly detail, sorry contraIvano Cheli (1) 19/10/2007 13:22 Voting comment
