I captured this image at the side of a country road in Canada. I just liked the lean of the old telegraph pole and the snow. I used Photoshop to make the blacks stand out. The camera is new, a Canon Rebel XTi ( Santa was very kind to me this year !!! )

Interesting. I think it could use a tighter crop, too much sky and white on the right. Your desaturation looks a bit flat. If you want to know about other ways that will give you more tonal range look me up.
