Gebze ist eine türkische Industriestadt am Marmarameer in der Provinz Kocaeli. Gebze liegt heute am anatolischen Stadtrand von Istanbul. In der Umgebung der Stadt finden sich zahlreiche Industrieanlagen, die vor allem seit den 1990er-Jahren ständig erweitert wurden.
