For Whom The Bells Toll!! Perth West Australia, Story Within.

The Swan Bell Tower has become one Perth's main tourist attractions,
constructed of glass and copper and now stands as a handsome campanile
down overlooking the Swan River gracefully!!
It is situated on the Barrack St. Jetty, overlooking the wide expanse
of water know as the Swan River and the entire city skyline.
The Swan Bell Tower was constructed between November 1999 and was
completed in 2001.
It stands at 82.5 metres high and contains twelve bells of St. Martin-
in-the-Fields from the 14th Century and which were recast in the 16th
Century by Queen Elizabeth I.
They were donated by the British to Perth West Australia.
The St Martin-in-the-Fields bells were donated to the city as part of
the 1988 Australian bicentenary celebrations.
Worth visiting if you are in Perth as it is now a landmark.
Take care all, I will present a little of the history of Perth as I go
along.
Taking a ferry down to Fremantle for a day out, many of you would have taken the ferry down the Swan River.
Happy weekend to you all.

Walkabout John.
