yes! i love those happy accidents. it's usually how it turns out for me, too. the texture and depth in this piece is excellent. the image invites viewers to enter through many fascinating portals, like the repetition of round shapes and complementary colors. my favorite parts...the ones that caught my eye first are the overall color arrangements and the dark figure's hand, like something inside wants to get out. that dark figure both slinks down into the cyan vortex in lower right corner, or that vortex is its source...like a dark genie. i like the yellows, but the other warmer colors work better for me. another bubble might be cool, too. the compostion needs yellows, though. the only part that's really distracting is the yellow form over the woman's nose, but as a whole, you've done an excellent job of morphing and confusing the human forms into the spectres of dreams. there. that's what i was originally trying to say! :)

    Sarah,
Thank you for your interest in my art. I never know what direction my art will take. Most of the time I Just pick two or three interesting photos and start playing with them until inspiration takes over and the pixels mysteriously align themselves into a picture that i never could have imagined. Isn't art fun!

hi! i just cruised through your portfolio after seeing this piece. it's an excellent and enthralling collection. not feeling overly word-ish right now, but i'll leave some thoughts on this one after i look at it some more. it's beautiful. hope that suffices for now. :)
