Mödlareuth ist ein Dorf mit 40 Einwohnern, das zu einem Teil im Bundesland Bayern (Landkreis Hof mit 16 Einwohnern) und zum anderen Teil im Bundesland Thüringen (Saale-Orla-Kreis mit 24 Einwohnern) liegt. 41 Jahre lang verlief die innerdeutsche Grenze mitten durch das Dorf entlang des Tannbachs.
Die Fotoserie entstand zum Anlass "30 Jahre Mauerfall" der nicht nur in Berlin stattfand.
