Der Galápagos-Landleguan wird auch Drusenkopf genannt, da sein Kopf mit vielen zäpfchenartigen Schilden von innen gepanzert ist. Er hat eine gelb-graue Färbung und einen Kamm aus Hornzapfen am Nacken.
