  In northern germany there is a special folk with a local language of its own called "Frisian". Due to their connection to seafaring and fishery the Frisians have a maxim "Rüm Hart - Klar Kimming", which means "Strong Heart - Clear Horizon" - you can transfer it to their attitude toward life in something like "be straight and upright". I always have this maxim in mind when I'm lucky to see the horizon and feeling home again. Every time I am touched by how well it fits into the landscape.
