Die Danakil Wüste
Die Szenerie in der Danakil Wüste am Lac Abbe (Djibouti) ist einzigartig, wie von einem anderen Planeten. Der See Abbe hat sich in den letzten Jahrtausenden um etwa 100 m gehoben, dadurch befinden sich die Sinterkegel heute im Bereich des trockenen Seeufers.
