Our trip to Nepal had been one of the more interesting journeys and as it is, looking at the images its refreshing my memory.
We should do a Getaway to visit the country actually.
Kathmandu has one of the largest Tibetan communities and whole parts of the city are devoted to the neighboring immigrants and their culture.
One the most impressive places in this context must be the Boudhanath Stupa in Kathmandu.
We visited the same place on 3 occasions during different times of the day. As some of you may know it resulted in the official SilkAir destination poster.
Sometimes going through the images later a second time suddenly reveals hidden gems like this image attached.
Devotion really gets a new meaning watching this man going about his task to circle the stupa... body length, by body length.
