Der Leuchtturm an Dunnet Head

Breitengrad 58° 40.3’N
Längengrad 03° 22.4’W

Dunnet Hauptleuchtturm kennzeichnet den nördlichsten Punkt des schottischen Festlands.

Der Leuchtturm wurde 1831 errichtet.
Er ist auf einer Sandsteinklippe - hohes 104m. Der Turm ist hohe 20m. Der Lichtstrahl hat eine Strecke 42km in das Pentland Firth.

from a storm releast,the little ship floats towards the coast,almost run out of fuel,there ,the lighthouse! once again the crew is bag to safty,the race is won.
what a feeling!!
if only this lighthouse could...........speak.

.. und das schöne, wenn man bekennender Leuchtturmfan ist, so wie ich, es gibt auf unserer Erde soviele Küsten und überall finden sich Leuchttürme.
Ich weiß nicht, was mich daran zu fasziniert, aber ich bin fasziniert - immer wieder.

well some say its only 90m, some say its 105m seems to be one of the last undiscovered secrets here!

Trotz seines hohen Alters scheint mir dieser Turm sehr edel. Eine excellente, markante Architektur, die ihn auszeichnet und brilliant zur Geltung kommt ...

Da werden die Fenster bestimmt regelmäßig geputzt - ich kann auch hindurchschauen!
Der Himmel hat eine schöne gleichmäßige Farbe.
