Das Warten hat sich gelohnt
the aurora forecast app said it would be high possibilty to see northern lights. when we arrived at this spot, we saw some northern lights, which got covered by thick snow clouds, and the little glimpse we could see was gone. we waited some time and after a while I decided to leave because I didn't see a chance that the thick clouds would be gone. My girlfriend prayed to God that the clouds would leave, while I was already packing in the tripod. Then I turned around to leave that spot and I could see the first strip of northern light shining through the clouds which seemed to disappear. after a couple of seconds we could see this enormous beautiful northern light for the next ten minutes, then clouds covered the sky again. It seems God is listening. :)
