Das berühmte Fenster in Lacock Abbey
Im August 1835 machte William Henry Fox Talbot von diesem Fenster das allererste reproduzierbare Foto-Negativ. Bisher waren Fotos nur Unikate und mit der Erfindung des Negativs konnte die Fotografie ihren Weg voran gehen und erreichte bald alle Bevölkerungsschichten.
