Colosseum By Night

Visited Rome from June 6th to 9th, 2014 for a few days, organized by the local travel agency Springer Reisen. I won this trip in a contest last year. As you can see the weather couldn't have been better. It's been the frist time I visited this monumental city and really seen a lot in these few days. It was pretty hot with around 35°C, so I had to drink a lot of water thoughout the days. There are a lot of fountains in the city where one can fill up the bottles with water and the water is delicious, coming straight from the mountains around Rome. On the last evening I went down to the Colosseum by night right after sunset, which was absolutely impressing. Will never forget these days.

Stimmt zwar, war Sonntag am Abend, aber waren doch auch einige Autos unterwegs, also von einer Straßensperre war da nichts zu bemerken, war nur ein glücklicher Moment knapp nachdem die Ampel rechts auf grün ging und mal paar Sekunden kein Auto kam. Ganz links ist auch noch eine kleine Rotspur von einem Rücklicht zu erkennen, aber danke für deinen Kommentar :)

Sonntags ist die Via Fori Imperiali für den Autoverkehr gesperrt. Das wirkt sich natürlich auch auf die angrenzenden Straßen aus.
Du hast die Situation gut genutzt und auch die Gerüste auf der anderen Seite des Kolosseums gemieden.
