Cobwebs and rust
This is the front door of a grade 2 listed biulding. the owners have run out of money, they cannot sell the property, so it just falls into disrepair.

I find that so sad. In the end the building will be in such poor condition, all they can do is tear it down. There have been times when I have suspected that certain property owners have used this as a strategy to get rid of listed buildings on attractive sites in the medieval centre of my hometown. It doesn't sound like that's the case here though. It just sounds like they're trapped.Sorry for the long comment, but it's a subject that's close to my archaeologist/antiquarian heart. So document away, John! Nice capture, by the way.
