Chedi in a special style
Wat Sam Saeng Tham in Noem Phoem in Phitsalulok Province.
On the way of Highway 2331 from Phitsanulok to the Puh Lom Lo National Park, we passed this temple complex, which was built in an extraordinary sovereign style, as I have never seen anywhere else in Thailand. One could almost think that the well-known New Zealand / Austrian artist Friedensreich Hundertwasser helped to design the stupa. But the architectural design comes from a former communist freedom fighter named Sahai Phon (Sahai = comrade).
